Insurance merger to cost some 1,000 jobs
The merger of four insurance companies will result in the loss of between 900 and 1,100 jobs and will include compulsory redundancies at the the new UVIT (Univé, VGZ, IZA en Trias) combine, reports ANP news service.
The firms have already said that only five of their 17 branches will remain open and this operation is expected to save the company €75m.
