The final cost of a new tax office computer system is more than double the €38m budget, the Telegraaf reports on Thursday.

The new IT system was set up to pay healthcare and rent subsidies for low income families.
The government’s audit office report on the budget over-run is being sent to parliament this afternoon. Junior finance minister Jan Kees de Jager has already says he wants to bring in another completely new tax office IT system, reports ANP news service.
