Top corporate salaries rise 12%
Top corporate salaries in the Netherlands rose by 12.3% last year, according to the Volkskrant’s annual survey.
The average rise was made up of a 7% increase in salary and 24% rise in bonuses, the paper said.
Top earner was Aegon’s CEO Don Shepard with an income of €6.35m, followed by ING boss Michel Timant with €4.3m. Options are only included in the Volkskrant’s calculations if paid out.
