Ski injuries up by one third

Insurers had to deal with 36% more ski-related broken bones and other injuries eduring the half-term holiday than normal, the insurance rescue service VHD reported on Monday. Top of the list for injuries was Austria (61.5%), followed by Switzerland and France.


The number of people repatriated to the Netherlands was up 25%, the VHD said. Day three and four of a ski holiday were the most dangerous
