Over 100 jobs to be axed at Philips
Some 107 jobs are to go at Philips light bulb factory in Roosendaal. The unit makes special TL bulbs for flat screen tvs. Philips Nederland has undergone a string of reorganisations in recent months and hundreds of jobs were lost when its LG Philips Displays unit went bankrupt. The company still has a Dutch workforce of some 27,000.
