Former Shell chief executive leaves supervisory board as well

Shell’s former chief executive Jeroen van der Veer is stepping down as a member of the oil giant’s supervisory board as well.


Van der Veer will leave the company in May next year after 42 years. He resigned as CEO in July 2009.
His place on the supervisory board will be taken by Gerrit Zalm, former finance minister and current chief executive at nationalised bank ABN Amro.
