Morning rush-hour disrupted by fog
Monday 22 October 2012
Localised mist and fog is causing problems on the roads in much of the country during Monday’s morning rush-hour, according to motoring organisation ANWB.
According to website Buienradar.nl, visibility is down to as little as 65 meters in some places. Groningen and Limburg are not affected, the ANWB said.
Some flights from Amsterdam's Schiphol airport are facing delays because of the poor visibility.
The mist is expected to clear as the morning continues and there will be sunny spells in southern areas, with the temperature reaching up to 21 Celsius.
