Dutch business confidence sunk to its lowest level in 2.5 years in July, the national statistics office CBS said on Wednesday.

A decline in orders in particular helped push the business confidence index to -5.2, compared with -4.8 in June.

In addition, companies are more pessimistic about future developments, the CBS said.
