A 43-year-old British man has been arrested at Amsterdam’s main railway station in connection with child pornography charges in Britain, police said on Friday.

The unnamed man was arrested on Wednesday evening following a tip off that he may have been hiding out in the Dutch capital.
Detectives later identified central station as a place where the man might be found and he was picked up shortly before 10pm, according to the police statement.
A European arrest warrant had been issued for him.
