Rush hour roads again 'an ice rink'
Wednesday 03 February 2010
Commuters have again been hit by slippery conditions on many roads on Wednesday with the A6 in Flevoland again one of the most seriously affected.
The traffic information service VID says the shortage of salt in many areas has led local authorities to be careful with their supplies and only treat some roads. In particular, local roads have been left.
There were no early morning bus services in the central Veluwe region because conditions were too dangerous on untreated roads.
