Feyenoord losses bigger than expected

Rotterdam football club Feyenoord lost €17m in the 2008/09 season, the AD reports on Friday afternoon.
The club also has €21m in interest-bearing debts, partly due to earlier write-offs on transfers.
Feyenoord hopes to cut its debts in the January transfer window by selling attacking midfielder Jonathan de Guzman and expensive reserves including Kevin Hofland and Roy Makaay, the AD says.
