'Do your thing' is vaguest expression

Monday 02 November 2009

Je ding doen (do your thing) is the vaguest figure of speech in common use at the moment, according to a poll of nearly 2,000 Dutch language experts.

Other phrases which experts say are unnecessary, meaningless, unclear or misleading include proactief (proactive), stakeholder, definitief eindconcept (definite final concept) and doorcommuniceren (communicate on).
