Car lobby warns about new French petrol
Thursday 09 July 2009
The Dutch motoring organisation ANWB has warned holidaymakers about the new French petrol E10, which is replacing Euro lead-free 95 petrol at many garages.
E10 contains 10% ethanol which can damage older cars if used all the time, the ANWB said. Most EU countries have opted for a 5.75% ethanol mix.
