House prices fall faster in February

House prices fell 1.5% in March, compared with March 2008, the national statistics office CBS and land registry said on Tuesday. In February house prices fell 0.5%.
The number of homes sold was down by almost 30% year-on-year.
The price of an apartment showed the sharpest fall at 2.6%.
Last week, the estate agents organisation NVM said house prices had gone down 3.1% in the first three months of the year.
