80,000 exam complaints every year
Wednesday 01 April 2009
Final year school pupils make an average of 80,000 complaints about their final exams every year, the Volkskrant reports on Wednesday.
Complaints range from the questions being too difficult to the noise made by high heeled shoes or lawn mowers, the paper says.
The complaints have been collected and researched by the school pupils' lobby group LAKS.
The school final exam period starts at the end of May. Some 200,000 pupils take formal school-leaving exams every year.
