IOC award for women's football coach

Vera Pauw, national women's football coach, has become the first Dutch person to receive the prestigious IOC Award, reports news agency Novum.
The International Olympics Committee praised the 45-year-old trainer for her services to women's football.
The award was presented in The Hague by NOC chairman Erica Terpstra who said: 'You must realise how exceptional this is.'
