Council taxes to rise 4.4%

Tuesday 04 March 2008

Dutch households will be paying an average 4.4% more in council taxes this year, the national statistics office CBS said on Tuesday.

The increase is due to an 8% rise in drainage taxes and the rise in housing valuations, which determine the OZB property owners’ tax.
