Boycott Olympic parties, ChristenUnie urges

The ChristenUnie party wants the Netherlands to boycott social events at the Olympic Games in China because of the country’s poor record on human rights, reports Friday’s Volkskrant.

And there must be no more than a ‘very sober’ presence at the opening ceremony CU MP Joël Voordewind tells the paper.
