Foundling could be Dutch

The new-born baby left in front of a house in the German town of Karken, just over the Dutch border, may well have come from the Netherlands, German police said on Monday.

The baby, a boy, was wrapped in towels and left on the doorstep in a shoulder bag with a Dutch text on it.
