Prison exchange treaty total reaches 60

The Netherlands has signed deals to swap prisoners with 60 countries, the foreign affairs ministry said on Monday.

The latest deal will give Dutch nationals sentenced to jail in Zambia the right to sit out their sentence in the Netherlands. Most Dutch prisoners abroad have been convicted of drugs offences.
