Ban on violent games urged

A majority of MPs wants a ban on violent computer games such as Manhunt 2 and have asked justice minister Ernst Hirsch Ballin to investigate tightening up the law, the NRC reports.

This summer, Hirsch Ballin told MPs he could only restrict sales to those under 16. In Germany it is possible to ban violent games, the paper said.
