Ten Cate H1 profit up 20%

Specialty textiles maker Ten Cate booked a 20% increase in first-half net profit. Turnover rose 7% to €426m.

The company said results were boosted by a major order for fire-resistant uniforms from the US army.

The company is best known for its artificial grass which is growing in popularity for soccer pitches worldwide.
