Ordina sees net profit recover but turnover fall
Tuesday 28 August 2012
Computer software company Ordina on Tuesday announced net profit in the first six months of €1.7m, a huge improvement on the same period of 2011 when losses were €7.7m.
The improvement came from lower reorganisation costs of €3m compared with €7.2m in the first half of 2011.
However, turnover fell 7.8% to €201.9m and operating profit fell 6.4% to €7.6m.
The computer software market remains uncertain in the Netherlands and Belgium, the company said in a statement.
For this reason, Ordina is making no profit or turnover forecasts for the rest of 2012.
