Serbian ‘dyke terrorist’ arrested over YouTube threats

The Serbian police have arrested a man who threatened to blow up Dutch dykes in a video he posted on YouTube and later described as a joke.

Dutch media report Miroljub Petrovic was arrested in the Belgrade at the request of the Dutch authorities.
In the video, filmed on the Dutch coast, Petrovic says he will carry out his threat if ‘patriotic parties’ come to power in Sunday’s Serbian elections.
War crimes

However, the Netherlands could avoid disaster by making sure Radovan Karadzic, Ratko Mladic and Vojislav Seselj are released from jail in the seaside resort of Scheveningen. The three men are being held in the Netherlands pending their trials for war crimes at the Yugoslavia tribunal in The Hague.
Even though Petrovic told Serbian media the video was a joke, he was arrested. The Belgrade authorities have 48 hours to decide if he should be extradited, Nos television said.
Some 26% of the Netherlands is below sea level and the country is protected from flooding by a long network of dykes, coastal defences and sluice gates.
