The Dutch entry for this year’s Eurovision Song Festival is You and Me, written and performed by 21-year-old Joan Franka.

Franka won a television talent show to represent the Netherlands in the second Eurovision semi-final in Azerbaijan. Although the jury, which included DJ Afrojack, had a slight preference for another candidate, the viewers’ vote put Franka into first place.
The Netherlands has failed to make the Eurovision final for the past seven years.
