Transavia focuses on Eindhoven airport

KLM’s charter subsidiary Transavia is launching four new destinations from Eindhoven airport this week, where work has just started on a new terminal building.

People living in the south of the country often travel to German airports Dusseldorf and Weeze for low cost flights, but the region has four million potential customers, Transavia CEO Bram Graber says in Tuesday’s Financieele Dagblad.
Transavia hopes the new routes will eventually lead to 500,000 people using its services in Eindhoven – double the current total. To facilitate this, Transavia is establishing a permanent base at the airport.
