Hockey men qualify for Olympics
The men’s hockey team qualified for the Olympic Games in London in August 2012 by beating Ireland 7-4 on Wednesday evening at the European championships in Munchengladbach.
The team were already through to the championship semi-finals with earlier wins against France (8-1) and England (4-3).
The semi-finals are on Friday.
