One of the biggest unions in the FNV trade union federation is threatening to go its own way if other unions do not agree to its plan for reforming the pension system, the Telegraaf reports on Monday.

The paper says a presentation by FNV Bondgenoten chairman Henk van der Kolk makes it clear the federation is divided over the pension plans.
Manufacturing union leader Van der Kolk will present his own plan to the FNV board later on Monday.
He first went public in April with his objections to the deal worked out by the unions and employers, prompting a two-week halt in the negotiations.
According to the Telegraaf, Van der Kolk says the agreement does not offer enough certainty about the size of their pensions to retired workers.
