Ruling parties want ban on khatThursday 09 December 2010 The ruling CDA and VVD want to see the introduction of a ban on the plant khat, an evergreen shrub whose leaves are traditionally chewed by people of East Africa and the Middle East as a stimulant, the Telegraaf reports on Thursday. The parties were reacting to Scandinavian complaints about Dutch exports of the plant and claims that profits are funding terrorism. The claims were made on television show EenVandaag. The CDA and VVD want to place the plant on the list of banned drugs. Labour said it would like to see the export of the plant tackled, the paper said. The previous cabinet did not plan to ban khat because it is used by a small group of Somalis and is not dangerous to health. © DutchNews.nl
There are probably about 50 people in NL that use the stuff, of course they are all Islamic so yes, let's ban this dagerous Muslim terrorist drug as quickly as possble! oh my god!! run for your lives. Hope ban on alcohol will be the next, because it is also dangerous to health, road safty and cause of domestic violence. Ban on C&A products will be the third one, which are against child labour. Keep up the good work.......
