Cabinet plans to allow bonus claw backs

The outgoing cabinet has submitted draft legislation to parliament which would make it possible for financial service companies to claim back bonuses paid to senior executives.
The new law would allow banks, insurance companies and investment firms to claw back bonuses if they were later found to have been paid out on the basis of wrong information.
