Vitesse’s new owner starts to assemble his squad

Arnhem football club Vitesse, bought last week by Georgian businessman Merab Zjordania, has taken three Chelsea players on loan until the end of the season.

Matej Delac, Nemanja Matic and Slobodan Rajkovic will join Vitesse for training later on Tuesday, news agency ANP reports.
Delac, 18, is a keeper and has been under contract to Chelsea since he was 16. Nemanja Matic is a 22-year old midfielder from Serbia and his 21-year-old compatriot Rajkovic was earlier on loan to PSV and FC Twente.
Dutch newspapers report that Zjordania has also set his sights on Ajax players Ismaïl Aissati and Miralem Sulejmani.
Zjordania, who has declined to say how much he paid for Vitesse, said last week the club will be premier league champions within three years.
