Dutch aid worker kidnapped in Sudan

Two aid workers - one Dutch and one German - have been kidnapped in the Sudanese region of Darfur, the United Nations said on Wednesday.

The men were abducted on Tuesday night by armed men in civilian clothes who swooped on the offices of German aid group THW .

The kidnappers, who were not identified, headed in the direction of Kass, a city north of Nyala, the UN official said.
