March was warm, sunny and dry

Although there were night frosts in the first 10 days of March, the rest of the month was warm and dry, the KNMI weather bureau said on Wednesday.
With rainfall of 60 millimeters (compared with an average 65) and 150 hours of sun (compared with an average of 115), the second half of the month was mild. And on two days, temperatures soared to 21.7 Celsius in places.
