Spyker Saab talks end without result
Friday 18 December 2009
Dutch luxury car maker Spyker is no longer in the running to take over Saab, the Swedish car maker's owner General Motors said on Friday.
Spyker had been the only remaining candidate.
GM said 'certain questions' could not be solved during the talks and it will now wind up Saab's activities in an 'orderly manner'.
The news hit Spyker's share price hard. By 3.15, it was down 22.4% at €1.70.
Spyker has not so far commented on the talks.
