DAF asks staff to take five days off
Wednesday 29 April 2009
Lorry maker DAF has asked its staff to take five days off next week, so it can shut down operations in Eindhoven completely for five days, news agency ANP reports.
The measure would apply to workers who are not covered by the temporary lay-off scheme.
Unions claim the company plans to go ahead with the closure without consulting the works council.
