Unilever faces legal action from union
Friday 06 March 2009
Unilever is being taken to court by the FNV manufacturing union for not sticking to an agreement made with staff, reports news agency ANP.
Unilever headed off a strike in 2007 by promising to put €1m into a special fund for training and guaranteeing that people who became unable to work would not face pay cuts. The union claims Unilever has broken the deal.
