Police to keep eye on criminals' finances

The financial dealings of serious criminals could remain under scrutiny after they have completed their sentence, reports the NRC.

Justice minister Ernst Hirsch Ballin is ‘sympathetic’ to the idea and will incorporate the measure into upcoming legislation aimed at making it easier to seize illegal assets.
