Teachers to strike nationwide in November

Teachers at secondary schools are to hold a nationwide strike on November 19 unless their demand for more pay and shorter working hours is met, reports ANP news service.

The main teachers’ union made the announcement in the northern city of Groningen on Thursday at the end of a week of rolling strikes throughout the country.
