Later "Y"ankees placed the Y for Urk making it New Yurk........New York........see!? By jelle | October 30, 2008 12:37 PM Hey Garry, If I see your criticism, you never have been in Urk. Urk is a very religious, cristian village, and the people fight for them principle. It is very nice to stay at Urk. My English is not as good as an American, but you will understand. A dutch Urk fan.
