New companies join AEX index

The blue chip AEX index of the Amsterdam stock exchange is up to full strength again from Tuesday with the addition of four companies from the MidKap index.
Fugro (geophysical research), USG People (staffing), BAM (construction) and Wereldhave (property) replace Vedior, Hagemeyer, Corporate Express and Tele Atlas which have all been taken over and delisted.
Ten Cate (textiles), OPG (pharmaceuticals wholesaler), Pharming (bio-technology) and Smit International (maritime services) have been promoted to the MidKap index.
