More competition on direct US flights

Monday 28 July 2008

There is to be more competition amongst airlines for direct flights between Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport and New York, reports ANP news service.

British Airways announced on Monday that it is to compete with Air France-KLM and offer direct flights on this route from August, focussing mainly on the higher end of the market.

Meanwhile a number of airlines, including Air France-KLM, are to launch direct services from London’s Heathrow airport to New York.

NorthWest/KLM has recently cancelled direct flights from Hartford Ct. to Amsterdam. You don't get much more " High End " than Connecticut.
