Holland leads world in telephone tapsFriday 30 May 2008 The Dutch authorities authorised 12,491 telephone taps in the second half of last year, making it the most tapped country in the world, according to justice ministry figures in Friday's Volkskrant. In the US there were just 2,208 telephone taps in all of 2007. This takes place in the land of freedom??? And the Dutch pride themselves on their culture. Seems like this isn't a culture but a police state.
