French court convicts 12 of drug smuggling

A French court has found 11 Dutch nationals and one Pole guilty of smuggling 142 tons of soft drugs into the country from Spain between 2001 and 2004, the Telegraaf reports on Thursday.
Two Dutch men were found not guilty. Seven lorry drivers involved in the operation were given between four and six years in jail, the five others between eight and 12 years.
