Blue Fox questioned over buyer report
Monday 26 May 2008
The financial services watchdog AFM has taken software firm Blue Fox to task for comments made by its chairman Arie van Leusden and reported in Saturday's Financieele Dagblad.
Van Leusden told the company's AGM on Friday that Blue Fox had been approached by five potential buyers, a statement which led to heavy trading in Blue Fox stock on Monday.
Under AFM rules, bourse-sensitive information should be made available to all shareholders at the same time, such as in the form of a press release.
