Contaminated medicine found in Heerlen

Some 50 patients may have been given contaminated medicine from China at a hospital in Heerlen despite health ministry assurances that no Dutch hospital had used the drug.


Use of the contaminated blood thinner Heparin has been linked to at least 19 deaths in the US, according to the New York Times.
