Oldest Dutchman dies aged 108

The Netherlands’ oldest man, Johannes van der Giessen has died at a nursing home in Rotterdam at the age of 108.

Van der Giessen lived at home with his son, 67, but broke a hip after a fall with a walking frame several weeks ago and was hospitalised.
