Hugo Claus funeral live on tv

The funeral of Belgian writer Hugo Claus, described as the greatest Dutch-language writer, will be shown live on Dutch tv on Saturday, says public broadcaster NOS.

The ceremony is taking place at Antwerp's main theatre.

Claus had Alzheimer’s disease and requested his life to be terminated through euthanasia. He died earlier this month.
