ING bank will today present plans to revamp its high street presence but will not mention plans to close down 38 branches, newspaper De Pers reports on Thursday.

The paper says ING is revamping its branch concept to focus on the sale of mortgages, insurance and other ‘lucrative’ products.
At the same time, 38 offices in places like Staphorst and Texel will be closed down because they do not attract enough customers, De Pers says.
