Dutch foreign minister to visit Middle East

Foreign minister Maxime Verhagen begins a four-day working visit to Israel and the Middle East on Sunday to talk about the peace process in the region.

Verhagen will hold talks with Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert and president Shimon Peres, the Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas and Syrian foreign affairs minister Walid al-Mouallem as well as others.
