Bus firm Arriva fined again

Private regional bus company Arriva has been fined €225,000 for poor service and faces a further €325,000 in costs for the investigation into its performance in Zuid-Holland.

The provincial authorities said too many services were cancelled, there were too many delays, and not enough capacity on some routes around Alblasserwaard.
The company was fined €150,000 in February after similar problems in Dordrecht.
